When traveling, do your kids sleep well?
We are going away for the weekend next weekend and I'm curious how the girls will sleep. We almost never go anywhere so they've always slept at home or my parents. We will be at my brothers cottage where we will have our own room...but will have to share with the 4 of us. There is an option for the cousins to all sleep together, which may work for my almost 4 year old but not ideal for my youngest. Any tips for making their night time sleep a success?

@Bao: Yes! But he is only 7 months. We co-sleep so a hotel bed is all the same to him. 
As far as making the trip easier for your LOs, bring whatever they sleep with at home! DS has the FP musical seahorse so we made sure to bring that. Good luck!

We have spent three nights away from home with DD (all in our camper) and she slept exactly the same as she does at home. We put her in a mini pack n play and we slept about six feet away from her. She's only 10 months. We did the exact same bedtime routine as we would do at home and I think that helped a lot.

Yes, however we are careful to respect her sleep schedule. That means, no stroller naps and no staying out way past her bedtime (she might be up a little later but like hours later). We bring her white noise machine and her sleep stuff (stuffed animals and A&A blankets). She usually sleeps in a separate crib or pack and play (she has slept in our bed on occasions when the hotel ran out of cribs, but she never sleeps as well with us).
It is sort of a hassle to do all that, but it works and then we never have any issues with her schedule when we return home either.
