So I've let my LO sleep on his tummy since he was 5 weeks old, and he has slept pretty well since then. He is 4 months now and yesterday, he managed to roll over onto his back in his sleep and started crying. I went into the room to discover he had rolled over and put him back on his tummy and let him fuss it out like usual. Minutes later, he started crying again and lo and behold, he had rolled over onto his back once again. Thankfully, he did go back to sleep, but I foresee that this will continue to occur. If your LO was a tummy sleeper before he/she learned to roll over (which I know is a taboo!), how did you handle it when they rolled over onto their back? Should I let him cry it out? We've never let him cry for more than 15 minutes, and usually he doesn't need to cry that long, but I'm just wondering whether he will be capable of putting himself to sleep on his back, or whether I should help put him back on his tummy and hope he learns to roll from back to front eventually! That could take months though! Any personal experience or advice? Thanks!!
