I love turkey. Love. We usually do a small scale Thanksgiving dinner a few times a year. Like 4-5x. I've also been known to ask for it in may as my birthday dinner.
Am I the only one?!

We have thanksgiving in October in Canada, but then semi-celebrate again in November with you guys because I love a good meal, and football!

We don't do the whole Thanksgiving dinner with all the sides but we do freeze the cooked turkey each year and eat turkey throughout the year. I usually make turkey noodle soup from it and have the turkey breast with regular sides.
I think I've noticed this year that I love Thanksgiving dinner. I should have this dinner with all the sides more often.

I cook an entire turkey breast in the crockpot like twice a month...lol

We never have Thanksgiving food outside of the holiday. I can't muster the energy to clean up all the dishes it takes!

We only do it once, turkey is usually my least favorite thing about thanksgiving, I am way more into all the side dishes

They way my family celebrates Easter is very similar to they way we do Thanksgiving.
We sometimes have turkey for Easter but we always have honey baked ham (we have honey baked ham & turkey for Thanksgiving).

I love thanksgiving so much too and always say I should do it more than once a year, but I never do!

We usually have turkey, stuffing cranberry sauce and a vegetable a few times throughout the fall/winter.

@Mrs. Sunshine: how do you do it in the crock pot? We love leftover white meat for turkey clubs. We finally realized we should just buy a breast for that.

@regberadaisy: I just put the entire breast in the crock pot, add a cup or two of water or broth & whatever seasoning I feel like using. I put the lid on, cover the entire tip with foil & let it cook for about 8 hours. Comes out perfect every time!

Our Christmas dinner is usually a lot like Thanksgiving dinner, actually, except that we also add either prime rib or ham to the menu. So I guess we do it about twice a year.

We eat stuffing fairly often, but turkey once a year (and I don't even eat it on thanksgiving either since I don't like it)

We have Thanksgiving dinner once in October, then we have Christmas dinner which is pretty much the same, and sometimes we will have turkey at Easter.

My brother used to ask for Thanksgiving dinner for his birthday dinner... in the summer lol. I make a roast chicken with stuffing, mashed potatoes, veggies, rolls, etc every few months.

We usually have big turkey/ham meals 3 times a year. Easter, Thanksgiving & Christmas.
I do host a Christmas party for my husbands company and usually do a roast with a lot of the same side dishes though. So... 4 times.

We only do it once a year, but do it multiple times between families, work & church!

Once a year. My husband doesn't really care for turkey, so it's a once a year thing for us. I don't mind, I enjoy cooking the big meals just once.

Turkey only happens twice, sometimes three times a year. We have it on Thanksgiving, Christmas and sometimes Easter.
We do occasionally make "Big Delicious Dinners" where we spend extra time making a huge meal and even get out the fancy china, but we do not have turkey.
