I feel like this is a common thing, but that the actual food groups vary from kid to kid.

C loves fruit and dairy-- she could eat cheese and berries for every meal. Carbs are hit or miss, which I'm fine with, and vegetables are so-so-- she loves frozen mixed veg or frozen peas, so I can always get something in her, but it isn't as varied as I would prefer.

But meats she could not care less about. She will sometimes eat chicken sausage or meatballs, but generally she isn't a fan. Luckily she loves hummus so I get some protein in that way.
