Wondering if it's common for LOs to get a little tan, even with sunscreen on? We go out to the playground most mornings, and I always put sunscreen on right before we leave, plus she wears a sun hat. I don't often reapply because we are never out for more than 2 hours, and if she looks like she's getting pink (usually from the heat, not sunburn or anything) we leave. If we go back out after 4 I usually don't reapply- maybe I should be? It's often shady by then at the playground anyway.

But she definitely has a bit of a tan on her arms and legs. She's pretty fair but not super pale. Wondering if this is just to be expected with so much time outside, or if I'm not applying enough or should use a different brand. We've been using Alba botanicals kids SPF 30, or babyganics SPF 50.

I use the same as her and I know I always get a tan, even with sunscreen, though I'm also in the sun more since she is shaded in the stroller while we walk to the park.
