If your toddler wears two-piece pjs or one-piece footless pjs, but doesn't yet sleep with a blanket, do they wear socks to bed?
DS is 14 months, and doesn't wear two-piece pjs yet, but he has a couple of footless one-pieces, and we put socks on him overnight with those. He's almost outgrown the 18-month sizes, so I think we'll be moving to two-piece sets soon. Should I keep putting socks on him?

My son did from when he started refusing to wear his sleep sack a few months ago until recently when it got warm. He doesn't really get pulling the blanket over you yet so it helped his feet stay warm.

Even though it's really warm our 2.5 year old demands socks. He stopped wear a sleep sack a long time ago, maybe @ 15 months?

He probably stopped wearing socks to bed around 2 when the weather got warm. And ever since then he hasn't worn socks to bed and even this winter he didn't. He's 3 but rarely even uses a blanket, so his feet can be chilly some mornings.

My daughter won't go to sleep without socks and if one falls off in the night she will wake up and yell for us to find it and put it back on her

We tried socks when she moved out of her sleeping bag but they were always swiftly pulled off.

DD is 14 months as you know; and we've had her sleeping in a thin footless onesie for a month or so now, and we've never put socks on her. We don't actually ever put socks on her unless it's with shoes, since she yanks them off immediately and I don't ever feel like she needs them.

Only in the winter when her room gets super cold. Otherwise no. Same for me!

My almost 3 year old insists on wearing socks to bed, even when he wears shorts to bed

We switched to 2 piece around April. We live in the NE so we did put socks on her on & off for a while until the warmer weather stabilized.

He used to, but his feet never got a chance to breathe since he always had socks on and he ended up with some sort of skin condition. Now he never wears socks to bed and it's much better.

Nope. He has always hated wearing shoes and socks if he doesn't have to. They are usually the first thing to come off when he gets home!

I try to gauge it by the feel of her room. If it's cool and comfortable, she's usually in full length (sleeves and pants) and socks. If it's more humid and feels warmer, I will do short sleeves and pants, and no socks. She often asks for them anyway, though.

always. She moves around all night long so the blanket doesn't stay on her for more than a few minutes.

My kids wear socks pretty much never! In the winter, the older one starts with slipper socks on, but they're kicked off within a few hours. The younger one exclusively wore footed PJs this winter, so no need for socks.

My kid is a sock-a-holic, so yes, always. She also wears socks with sandals and very rarely goes without socks on inside our house, even in the dead of summer. She agreed to go sockless with her crocs at the beach last weekend which was a huge accomplishment as in the past she has demanded to wear socks at the beach

My 16 month old refuses to wear socks at any point ever. Haha

My 2.5yo refused to wear footed pjs post 12 months and won't wear socks to bed either (and he's not a fan of the blanket). It seems to be okay since he runs warm generally and I put him in long sleeved shirts/pants for sleep.
