The past few days we have noticed that my smaller dog is so protective of our 4 month old daughter who now is more mobile in saucer/mat on living room floor that he growls at our other dog who is a pit bull if she gets close to her??? Today he went to bite the pitbull???
Ughhhhh what do we do?

@snowjewelz: They both like her but Owen..little dude is more protective of her wants to be by her not so much play with her....Bella wants to play with her but only on her time I let Bella sniff her and such only when she wants to

@FaithFertility: We had something similar happen right when we brought the baby home! But it was reversed, and the bigger dog was almost growling at the little dog. I was so freaked that the big dog was about to attack the little dog right practically on top of us! Luckily they don't really seem to act like that anymore, the bigger dog and the little dog both love the baby and lick him if I let them but don't seem as protective.
