I am lightly spotting this morning. The past couple of days I have been more active than normal because we are out of town (2 hours from home) is this something that I need to be concerned about? Should I start driving home? I don't have any cramping but bright blood even a little freaks me out.

Call you doctor ASAP!!! Spotting can be an indication of labor! Good Luck momma.

I would also call. I didn't have spotting until right before labor. Is it mucus plug maybe?

I called just waiting for a call back. HB is much quicker than the after hours line

I called at 35w when I had spotting but they told me it was normal. I spotted and had light bleeding up until delivery at 40+1. OB told me I just had a sensitive cervix and was going through lots of changes. I had started to dilate. It didn't mean labour for me. Good luck!

@MrsRcCar: thanks lady. They just said to keep an eye on it and try and rest. It only lasted a couple of hours and went away.

I had a LOT of red blood once around then, but it was after sex. My midwife said that just about anything can make you bleed when your body is getting ready for labor--so while it can mean something, it's just as likely that it's just happening because you're super pregnant.
