For fun because I know in the end, what she wears will be up to what isn't too heavy/itchy/weird/has a tag in it.
Which outfit should she wear for school photos? The third outfit will be as-is other than replacing the blue shirt with a cream, peter pan collar shirt.

2nd option without the leggings. Maybe plain tights instead?

I like 1 and 2. With 2 I wouldn't do leggings and socks, though. I think tights would look better.

#2 as-is. I love the striped leggings, plus the gold in them matches the shoes! For school photos, you usually can't see below the waist anyway.
I also like #3, it is more dressy, both both are awesome.

@autumnlove: I looked everywhere for glittery tights like the leggings but settled for them. I agree, I doubted myself on the sock/legging look when I bought them. If she would wear shoes without socks, I'd go that route but, alas.

Do you know what the background looks like and if they take the photos sitting or standing? We get a copy of the background in advance with recommended colors to wear.

@MamaG: we have a choice of 4 color backgrounds (white, gray, blue or ...something else I can't remember. The other background is a Fall landscape background.

@mediagirl: Choices! That almost makes life more challenging sometimes. Our school photographer does most of the photos seated. So I always make sure that LO has something that will easily cover her knees or doesn't bunch up awkwardly in a sitting photo, which it looks like all of your options would do well.
I like #2, but I would also use tights instead of leggings.

Children's Place has "glitter dot" tights, maybe that's an option?

I like #2 better. It's a popular colour now, and has some texture too it which will translate well in the waist up pictures for your wall.

I really like #2. Btw, I'm so jealous. They abolished school photos for the little ones here (daycare) claiming it "stresses them out" and many parents can't afford them. I was really looking forward to having them taken.
