Tell me about how you make family dinners happen? We walk in the door by 5:30 on weeknights and A is in bed by 7-7:30. We've been making it work by having the kids eat together and then I cook for DH and I after they're in bed and we eat late. It monopolizes so much time in the evenings though and the kids are routinely getting junky convenience foods and are getting pickier by the day. It's a huge goal of mine to make family dinners a routine thing in 2018.

So, what are your tips for making family dinner happen? What are some easy week night recipes, how do you prep, how do you convince a 5 year old that vegetables aren't poison?
