My LO has a Peek tee that I love that says

We do have a Wish I Was A Little Bit Taller tee, I think from Tribe Is Alive. I'm loving all the Kid + Kind and Whistle & Flute tees! The Eat, Sleep, Play, Repeat is hilarious and at Target! The Read To Me top is actually a Baby Gap pj. I love love Peek! Tees. My sister has that same tee as Arden and it's so funny!

I saw a "future shoe hoarder" one today that is just too cute. I can never find birthday tees I like! I'm going to save this idea to make LO's birthday tee! What kind of t-shirt material and paint do you recommend?

@regberadaisy: I linked my own blog post about freezer paper a few posts up, but if you google there are plenty of tutorials. It's super easy, and if you're only going to use it once I wouldn't even bother using fabric paint. Any t-shirt works fine; the less stretchy the crisper it will look.
