I was planning to order Sawyers bug spray with picaridin, based on some recommendations, but of course I waited to long and it won't get here before our trip this weekend. So, recommendation for a natural but effective bug spray that's good for toddlers and pregnant ladies? Ideally one that is available in regular drug stores, though I can make a trip to target if I really have to. But something that CVS sells would be amazing.

Do you have Amazon Prime? I ordered the California Baby bug spray from there so you would get that by Wednesday. Safe for everyone and pretty effective.

@Truth Bombs: I do but it won't get here until Thursday, because I waited too long. So dumb- it's been in my cart since lunch time and I forgot to place the order! I did order tonight anyway but I think it will arrive Thursday evening and we leave that morning. But I think the target near me had the California baby one so I can drive there, I just didn't feel like making a target trip this week. Bleh.

I recently made one with essential oils that worked great if you access to them. It was 4 oz water, 2 oz witch hazel and 25 drops each of lemon and eucalyptus oil.

The Coleman natural (or whatever it's called) works great and is pretty easy to find at big boxes! Consumer reports just did a test on them and they thought the only non-deet sprays that were effective were the Coleman natural or anything with picardin which you can sometimes find at camping stores.

Badger Bug Balm is awesome. It's a pain to put on, but works great. I wore it in the rainforest in Panama for two weeks and it worked really well.
