Hellobee Boards

Thanks everyone! So excited that I can hang stuff now and get this Big Girl Room show on the road!

@hellobeeboston: She does great! We decided that we weren't going to waste money on a twin bed, we wanted to invest in a nice set that she can grow with for several years. I found this on PBTeen actually - it's the Coraline, and the canopy comes off if she gets tired of it, and it can be a 4 poster or just headboard/footboard. But it was between a full and a queen. There's only 6 inches difference, and we already had a nice queen mattress that we could use, so we went with that. We have a routine every night that we follow, we started a special one the first night she went in her Big Bed. It is based around her Elsa doll and her Dream blanket - new acquisitions with the Big Girl Bed. And when we tell her it's time to go Night Night, we walk her to her bed, she climbs up the steps and gets in her spot with her doll and her blanket, and she tells us Night Night and that she loves us, and she rolls over and goes to sleep. It's pretty amazing, but she's done that from Day 1, and we started about a week after she turned 2. We ordered those bumpers on each side from Amazon, and they have kept her from falling out or anything. And when she wakes up, she usually hangs out in her bed a while, and then climbs down her little steps and comes out and finds us:)

It's pretty cute...We just hear feet thundering down the hall on the hardwood and then she appears all excited to see us:)

@Mrs. Lion: Thanks! Yeah - We both debated about it for a few days when her furniture went on sale bc a queen just seemed so huge and we decided we were going to take the plunge. But it's only 6 inches difference, and it just actually makes a lot more sense long term! And if you have the space, then it is actually a great investment! I do really like the bumpers we got for her - they stick to the mattress/protector and don't really move, even when she curls up into them, she never moves them very much and she's never fallen out....Just in case you're interested:
