Hi Bees,

So I'm trying to work on developing my 17 month old's fine motor skills per her visit with the OT. I got some good ideas from her but I was wondering if anyone else had other good toys, activities, ideas?

Here's what I have so far:

-Pushing wooden doll pins through holes in a lid of a container
-Putting coins in a piggy bank
-Scribbling with crayons
-Painting with whipped cream, finger paint, yogurt
-Filling a large clear container with pinto beans and burying treasures for her to find
-Wooden stacker toys
-Stacking blocks and foam shapes
-Peeling off stickers (cheap labels) and sticking them on a Manila folder
-Using a spoon to self feed (going to tempt her with applesauce)
-Putting different buttons into a ice cube tray
-Snap and lock beads
-Mega Bloks

Anything else? I'm going to buckle down and really purposefully work with her. And since it's scorching hot outside it will be fun to stay indoors and do stuff like this!
