As the warm weather is fading I'm thinking of how I will continue to offer a variety of fruits to my toddlers. Things like strawberries and blueberries jump in price and decline in quality in the winter. Does anyone use fruit from the frozen aisle to eat "straight up"? I'm not thinking of making a smoothie, but defrosting the fruits to send to daycare.

In my own life I've only used frozen fruits in baking or smoothies, so I wasn't sure if they would taste as good eaten plain....
