We brought her downstairs for breakfast, and she hops up on the couch and yells "Waffle!" So DH says "K, where are your manners?"
She shrugs, looks around the livingroom, and says "I don't know!"

Ha!!! Love these threads! DD is only 10 weeks, so no words, but she has a new yawn. She yawns real big and then when she breaths out at the end, she goes "whooooo!" Dramatic much?

@Smurfette: Ha! Our friends son did that with the aquaphor but he literally covered his shorts in it in his attempt to apply it all over that area. It was hysterical!

She started saying "I don't know" with the cute shoulder shrug and hands/palms facing up...does that make sense? Hope so because it is hysterical!

She was alone in our guest room for 2 minutes and somehow managed to climb into the pack n play without flipping it over on herself. We literally have no idea how she did it.

We took LO to a natural history museum and she ran right up to a huge skeleton of some marine dinosaur thing and said "whoa!" I didn't even know she had that word!

She double handed honked MIL on the boobs at the dinner table. SO RANDOM

DS did something he wasn't supposed to Friday morning so I gave him a stern look and moved my pointer finger side to side in a "no-no" gesture, but didn't verbalize. He in turn did the same thing to me, but said nonononono in a sing song voice. It was hilarious. I have no idea where he learned it from.

DS ran over to me while I was on the couch and gave me a snuggly hug. He then said "look at me, dada! I cute!"

LO wanted to sit on my lap, so she informed me "I want to sit on you, you old rat!". lol, she also has started calling our cat "you old rat" - not sure where that one is coming from!

@yoursilverlining: hahaha!! My dd calls me "stinky" sometimes. It's hilarious!

Yesterday she put a giant clear tub for her play food on her foot and declared it "a glass slipper for cinderella!"

@Jess1483: hahah! That is so adorable! My daughter named ds Chocolate and Lollipop before he was born. She would crack up at herself.

My mom was babysitting Friday night and a little while after putting the kids to sleep, she hears my 2 year old daughter crying. She goes to her room and is handed my daughter's Daniel Tiger stuffed animal. My daughter says something to her, but my mom can't understand it, so she hands Daniel back to my daughter and covers her up with her blanket and puts her back to sleep. When we got home, my mom told us the story and I immediately knew that what happened was that my daughter had taken Daniel's watch off his wrist and wanted it put back. My mom laughed because how would she have known that? The next morning, when I got my daughter out of bed she said sadly, "Mommy, I cried and Grammie didn't fix Daniel Tiger". I replied "Grammie had no idea what you were talking about, sweetie" and my daughter said "yeah" and laughed!
