I haven't corrected her for these until recently. She is turning 3 next week and 3 seems like she is not a baby anymore so I feel like it's time to correct her. 3 years just flew on by....I am not ready for the threenager sassiness. These 2 are my faves.

Yesterday, I tried to coach E to say "Happy Ruby Wedding Anniversary" to her grandparents but it came out "Happy Bloody Nursery"! Then when we got there, she just went around saying happy birthday to everyone!

We have fake sword fights with our preschooler and he'll say "I'm a guy!" instead of "en garde!" It's so funny!

She says bathing soup instead of bathing suit.

L says P-Wop instead of peanut butter, and I love it so much!

She uses "potato" to mean both "potato" and "tomato" so I never know which one she actually means.
She also says "hoyt" instead of "heart".

Garth Brooks' song "Beaches in Cheyenne" he says peaches for beachesand we're just in a phase of saying "properly" as in " I wrote my name properly (comes out properwly) so cute

3.5 year old: Nilk (for milk), slipperly (for slippery), he calls his brother Gaham (for Graham)...so many more! I

She calls the curtains "skirtains."
When she wants you to roll down the window, she says that she wants it "gone" (all the way down) and that she wants the big wind. -
He says handsitizer instead of hand sanitizer and now my husband and I don't even say it properly.

I love this thread. I actually keep a journal on my phone to write down all of the cute things my boys say.
He calls snow cones, "ice" cones.
My bra = "boobie scarf."

The other day I asked DS (who is 3) how were his strawberries. He said "They taste feet." He meant sweet.

DS is 3 and was proud that he got his tercificate at gymnastics this weekend. He also likes to do things as a flamly.
We're mean and if he says something cute we'll get him to say it a lot!

@Kimberlybee: this reminds me of my son just before he turned 2. He kept saying what sounded like "have a good day" but it made no sense. He was actually saying "elevator".
Now, at 5, my son calls the aquarium "the quarium" I think he thinks the "a" is an article.
My daughter is 2 and still has difficulty with certain sounds, especially c and k. So chocolate sounds like totlet, and when she says it in French it sounds like toe-toe-la.

He calls dandelions "bandy-lions." And when I'm pumping, he asks if I'm using my "pressures." I have no idea where that came from.

When LO was very young she never used a pacifier but she used to see others and call it a Fire Pass.
I want all these kids together at once. They are so cute! If only we could string it together on a video.
