I keep wanting to find a comprehensive gender list and I was hoping someone would start one - so I decided to go for it. We had our anatomy scan this morning and are excited to find out that baby #2 is a boy! Now we'll have two little guys

How about you @ms.janedoe:? I keep doing all the stupid old wives tale tests. I might poll the hive later like @Running Elley: did. I'm getting nervous because everyone in my life has a strong feeling going one way.

@anbanan15: OMG dude, I'm dying. I want to know SO freaking bad!!! At the beginning, EVERYONE thought it was a girl, now everyone's flipped and is CONVINCED it's a boy... Honestly, I'm still not sure what I think! My gut early on said girl...which I'd be stoked about. I'd also love a boy though (totally picturing him and DH fishing and stuff!)! Gah! Who knows!
Do you have a list of the old wive's tales? I might try to gather a bunch of them up today (while I'm at work, obviously...) and see what they come out at!

@ms.janedoe: I'm thinking girl and so is everyone else. My mom is fully convinced we are having a girl because we started carrying this product at work right before I told her about my 
that the color name is the girls name we picked out 5 years ago (and is the name we would use). DH will not tell me either way, but I think he at least subconsciously thinks girl since I cannot get him to even consider any boys names I like.
These are the "tests" I've been doing and they all say the same thing! Which is making me nervous/exiting and I'm hoping not a false hope 
(they are kinda gross but here goes):
*Baking Soda Test - mix a little baking soda in your urine. If it does nothing = girl, if you get foam/fizz/head like beer = boy
*Cabbage Test - boil off some red cabbage and then mix equal parts of the liquid with your urine. If the mixture is purple = girl, if it is red or pink = boy
*Ring test = dangle wedding ring on a string above your belly. Side to side movement = girl, circular movement = boy
*Chinese Gender Calendar - I've checked a million of these
Then I was just looking at my morning sickness, cravings, irritability and carrying compared to DS. I can't really tell how I'm carrying though.

@anbanan15: My DH is the same way with names! We both think girl so he won't even consider any boy names and said he doesn't want to talk about them until we would learn it's a boy!

@anbanan15: Yessss!!! Looks good, lady! And hell yes on the old wive's tales...I did 'em last week after we talked on whatever other board it was and I think I ended up with like, 11 that said girl, and 4 that said boy!

@ms.janedoe: haha that's awesome! I was at a baby shower yesterday for a women having a boy and her aunt (a family friend) kept trying to get her to do the baking soda one for "quality control" haha.

@anbanan15: The list looks great! Thanks for refining it. I do think that since our thread subjects are basic, but they are filed by our"due date twin" category, sometimes people just see the topic and hop in to share. I've noticed it on our bump thread too. But it's always nice to see bumps and hear good news!
