I found out today that I have a work trip the first week lo starts daycare, this will be in August she will be 9 months old. Should I try to get out of it (I really need to go) or will it be okay. DH has solo patented before when I had a work trip at 5 months, I'm just worried the adjustment will be too hard.

@msplatypus: Can you change the start date of daycare? Start part time or make lots of visits the week before?

@Corduroy: she's only going part time, Monday Tuesday and Friday full days. I'm going out of town on Wednesday and coming back on Sunday. I can check and see if she can start a week earlier, do you think that will help?

@msplatypus: I was thinking that starting daycare a week earlier might be easier for you. But it looks like you would be there for the first few days of daycare. I think you and LO will be fine as is.
