I was all set to order this dress for my 2 year old for Christmas, but then I came across some threads talking about how their sizing is way off. Anyone have toddler dresses and insight into how they run? My LO definitely still has her toddler chub and isn't that tall, so her 3T dresses for width wise and are kind of long. Debating between the 1.5-2 y size and 2-4y.

I find their sizing to be somewhat big. I'd probably go with the 1.5-2 size. M is almost 3 and can still fit her H&M clothes in that size. In other brands I have her in 4T pants for the length.

@fancyfunction: that's helpful- her 3T pants are all a little long (so I just bunch or cuff them). Seems like the biggest difference between sizes is length. I just don't want to pay return shipping.

Def 1.5-2years. They run big in the under 2 sizes, imo!

@regberadaisy: no, it's just red or a navy and pink floral print. Haven't seen t in person.
I keep psyching myself up to order it, then thinking I should just take a trip into town and look in person (with the toddler) then psych myself out of that since it's going to be crowded and involves a lot of walking and my back is sore...
So I should just order the smaller size and be done, right?

@regberadaisy: I did see that! I already wanted to order some stuff for the new baby- I like their side snap onesies and footed pants plus I got an impractical but cute Christmas dress for her too. Hopefully the Christmas things fit!

I would do the 2-4 and she can wear it next year 
but also they shrink faster.

I go by the height sizing with H&M and it is usually pretty accurate. In Europe, it's listed in both months/years and centimeters. Not sure what they do with the US sizing though.

An update in case anyone finds this while searching the same question- the 1.5-2 year size just fits her right now- 28 months, 28 lbs, average to short (not sure how many inches tall she actually is). I probably should have gone up to the next size but then it would be longer than I want I'm sure. So in this case seems pretty true to size.
