My sister had a “noggin nest” for her son after he seemed to be developing a flat spot and she was happy with it. She used it during the day like in the swing and stroller, but not at night for sleep.

I tend to agree with shantuck. I guess it can’t hurt for awake time during the day. My first had a very minor flat spot on the back of her head-I blame her good night sleeping from an early age. My second has not had one in the first four months,
Don’t know if that means we’re in the clear. His nighttime sleep was like the 4
Month sleep regression from birth until now so not a lot of lying down time and tons of tummy time just because he enjoys it.
