No, but I want to put mascara on the hubs because he has the longest eyelashes I've ever seen on an Asian man. But he won't let me.

I lent him my concealer (and showed him how to put it on) to cover a few zits he had at our wedding.

No. He wont let me near him with makeup.

Actually, yes! DH got in a bar fight once (totally uncharacteristic of him) and came home with his face covered in blood and cuts all over his eyes, forehead and nose. He wears glasses and the guy suckerpunched him in the face causing the glasses to cut him in several places and bruise up his eye a little.

I made him call in sick to work the next day which he's never done before and I went straight out to the MAC store to get some heavy duty coverup. I would have just used mine since we have the same skintone, but I don't get pimples so I didn't have anything for redness that would stay put all day.

I made him up so good before work the following day that you couldn't even tell that he had any cuts or that he was wearing makeup. I even got him a small flesh colored bandage shaped perfectly for the bridge of his nose to cover the worst of it. The only comments he got were about the bandage, but he just came up with some excuse. I did this for a few days until he healed enough to not need the makeup, but boy did he need it at first!

@Cchoi4: Rob Sr.'s eyelashes are super long and thick and stick straight down too! I call him snuffleupagus He let me curl them once (he's gonna kill me if he sees this)... but only so that they'd stick out, and not up, and he said the world looked a lot brighter than normal. Isn't that sad?? He's literally been living with a black veil over his eyes. But they also hit his glasses when he blinked so he didn't like that.

hi tina! the mr. said the same thing to me...that his world was "lighter" than usual because his lashes weren't blocking his view! i call him snuffleupagus too thank goodness the little one inherited the lashes but not the direction they point...how sad would that be for a baby

@Rubies: does your husband ask you to do his facials for him? that is so cute!

i'm glad to know there are other wives out there determined to curl their husband's lashes. my side - it came about after losing a bet (can't remember what it was), and the first thing out of my mouth when she did them was "ok, so how do you get them back down?! MAKE THEM NORMAL AGAIN PLEASE."

wouldn't have it done to me again... although it did bring just a tiny bit more perspective as to what women go through with their morning make-up routine... and brought my DW oh so much joy. =)

Umm no. My husband is a very secure man but there is no way he would EVER, under any circumstances wear makeup. He would seriously look at me like I had 4 heads if I ever even hinted that he put makeup on. Plus, he wouldn't look good with it. Regardless of how often he shaves he always has some kind of 5:00 shadow and that just wouldn't be a good look with makeup.
