Two wall-related questions:
1) I am not getting notified when someone writes on my wall. Is that something that can be changed?
2) I have a wall post that has stripes behind it, as though it is a new post that I haven't viewed. But I have viewed it and responded. Shouldn't the stripes go away? Or do they mean something else?

@mrsrain: go to your profile and opt to get notified of wall posts. It has stripes when it's a private (gold) message that no one can view (just you and the the person can view the message)

@mrsrain: the stripes mean it's "gold", or visible only to you. The writer selected that option.

@sandy: There is the option to opt OUT of wall posts, which I have not selected...

@mrsrain: hmmm...it may be a email setting thing then..like your wall post notices are going to junk mail? I would message Mr. Bee if the messages aren't in your junk folder

@mrsrain: 1) check your settings in your profile. Your probably inadvertently checked the box to opt out of wall notification emails. 2) the stripes me the post is "gold" and private and cal only be seen by you. Hope that helps!

@MamaMoose: Nope, I have never had the box checked. Yes, I do have gmail. I thought maybe it was going to spam, but I regularly check my spam folder and have never had a HB notification go there. Something else I should try?

@mrsrain: hhmhhh... Gmail was filtering mine to my junk folder and all it took was for me to highlight a few and move them to my inbox and I stopped having the problem. If you didn't check opt out and there's nothing in your junk email I'm out of suggestions. Sorry!

@MamaMoose: It's not like I get wall posts very often, but the times I have I didn't know it for several days! I'll just have to continue my habit of checking periodically.
