For a friend of mine who just had a second son. She has excellent taste so I have no idea what to get for a baby gift!

I don't think you can go wrong with books, or maybe passes to a local kids museum/kids cafe/etc.

@matador84: maybe some cute baby clothes, or a gift card. Or perhaps a gift basket with baby essentials like boogie wipes, hand wipes, baby lotion, sunscreen, teethers, some burp cloths and/or bibs. Basically stuff that runs out or get worn out that she won't be able to reuse from her first baby.

I don't have kids yet (pregnant now!) but I'm starting to give Kelly's kids outfits as gifts and they seem to be a hit! It's super cute and then they have a coordinated outfit for photos
Most clothes go down to 3 months
ETA: I get them for all the kiddos in the family to obviously have the ability to be coordinated

@MrsYellowJacket: I will look that up! @Mrs.Waffles @Freckles: I might just go with a gift card but it seems so impersonal. Although, I'm sure they would appreciate it! They gift my kids precious gifts and so it's so hard for me to choose gifts for them!

She needs more of whatever gets pooped/peed/barfed on! I will always take more burp cloths, diapers, swaddles, etc. And, I always try to get the new big sibling a little gift (perhaps a book or new toy),

Necessities like new bibs, onesies, etc. I really don't need more "stuff"!
