I was going to make this gold but I'm hoping to get more responses this way. I've been trying to find info on a higher sex drive PP and it seems like everything I come across is about lower libido and not wanting sex PP. I'm currently 12 days PP and I want to jump my DH. I'm not going to as I had a second degree tear and need to heal. I don't know what it is but I feel so sexy and confident about myself. Did anyone else have this experience? Or am I just weird?

That was me after my second! I felt so thin compared to when I was pregnant and had stopped dealing with PP bleeding and hadn't torn and was just really ready to be intimate with DH. I think I just felt so good after going to 42 weeks pregnant that I was ready to get it on.

Yep, that's me now! LO is 5 weeks and I have to wait at least another 1.5 weeks before we can do anything according toy OB...

Yeah. It's hormones!! We waited until I felt ok physically (I had stitches too), and that ended up being about 4 weeks pp. There was a lot of high school type make out sessions between birth and BDing at 4 weeks pp. So much dry humping, hahaha.

I think that having a baby is a very intimate thing, so it makes you feel closer to your partner, which makes you want to have sex. I had my baby at 27 weeks with no labor, so we had sex at 3 weeks pp since I knew I couldn't get in infection since I didn't dilate. Or at least that was my logic. I was so ready to jump him.

I felt that way! I didn't year but had to wait 4 weeks because of the infection risk. I was going nuts! I noticed the same thing after my miscarriages, so I wasn't that surprised.

I'm so glad others have felt this way! Seriously, there was no info out there about this and I was beginning to feel like a freak.

@MrsTal: The risk of infection is where the placenta dettaches from the uterus. It's essentially a wound. We used condoms for awhile pp. We do natural family planning, but there was NO WAY we were going to risk a pregnancy so quickly.
