I definitely had this problem. A year later, it's finally almost better. So annoying!

@mrsbookworm: It's so annoying! I'm almost a year out and I feel like I notice it more now.

Yes. For about a year. I still get a twine every once in a while when I sit down for too long. C is 2....

Mine used to be really bad, where I couldn't sit in the same position for more than 20 minutes. Now, I mostly notice it when I sit on the floor with LO. I tried to go to a yoga class though, and that was torture! Happy baby pose is not happy for mommy with a sore tailbone.

Yep...after S, mine stayed sore through the 3 postpartum months and my pregnancy with M, which didn't help. It's better since having him.

Yes I was just thinking about this today. In the last few weeks it's been increasingly worse. I wasn't sure what was wrong, I thought it was because of sitting and breastfeeding but I'm not even doing that much anymore. Maybe it's the aftermath of labour? Whatever it is, it's making my 3 hour work commute a real pain in the butt. Literally.

@delight: hahaha I keep thinking, it's almost been a year, it's reminding me about labour! I thought it was from sitting too much lately too, but I have been on my feet a ton lately!

@.twist.: I honestly think its because she bruised my tailbone on the way out.

@.twist.: I remember for the first couple of months my knees were killing me from getting up and down beeastfeeding. Now that she's getting heavier maybe the tailbone issues are part of the same problem of sitting down and standing up all while holding her. Always something to complain about I guess

Yep it started for me around 30 weeks of pregnancy and it still does it. I'm 15 weeks pp now it's aggravating and painful at times sigh

I still feel it three years later, especially when I am sitting for long periods of time.

Yes, 5 months after giving birth and it hurt so bad I went and had x-rays done to make sure it is not broken. Doctor said nope, just badly bruised from giving birth and recommended a chiropractor and Advil to fight the inflammation. I'm hoping it will work!

Chiropractor helped me SOOO much with this. It's best to go very soon after delivery, while the relaxin is still in your body. But I definitely think it would help you ladies that are further out, too! If you haven't tried it, give the chiro a shot!

My friend had this. Finally 2 years later she couldn't stand it any more and went to physio. Turned out to be a pelvic floor issue. And the physio is a lot of internal stuff.
