Did you have this? How long did it last?
My hair has been falling out at an alarming rate since LO was just before three months. So a few weeks now. I have thick hair to begin with so it looks fine, but it's driving me crazy.

I feel like it lasted forever. It seemed to taper off around 4 months for me - so a month after I stopped breast feeding. Not sure if that's related at all.
Now I feel like all of the hairs that broke off are growing back and I have weird wings of hair when I pull my hair into a ponytail.

The chunks of hair falling out still happens to me, but I have TONS of hair and had this problem even prior to post partum. It just got worse pp. The hair loss I can't stand that has finally grown out is the spark plugs along my hairline!

yeah... one of my least favourite things about having babies!
i don't have thick hair to begin with, so it's not a great look for me. haha.
anyway, for both my kids it started around 4 months and lasted till 7 months pp. LOTS of hair fell out....every day

Mine started Around 3.5 months PP and lasted about 1.5-2 months. After that, it tapered back down to a normal rate. It was awful when I was going through it, though. And now I'm dealing with regrowth and frizz/wingy bits, ugh.

Mine started about 3.5 months pp and isn't as dramatic now (at 6 months) but it's still falling out more than pre-pregnancy. I'm still breast feeding, I don't know if that makes a difference!

It was hardcore for maybe two months, and now at nine months pp it is much better. I have thick hair anyway, and the most noticable part is where my hair fell out by my temples.

Started up around 4 months and got better around 6 months, and then came back with a vengeance around 10 months (maybe also because it was summer?).

It lasted a few months for me. Then it took a really long time for it to fill back in.

Yup started around 4 months it so, lasted several months. Now at a year I have 1-2 inch long pieces all around my hairline. Very annoying. Any my hair is pretty thin to begin with!
The baby hairs have gotten long enough that sometimes they look like really short, thin, awful bangs. It's a hot look.

Started 4 months after LO 2 and 3 months after LO 1. I shed heavily until 7-8 months PP.

@mrsjyw: ugh, I'm afraid this could be me too. I've always lost lots of hair but it slowed when I was pregnant and now is way worse.
@Foodnerd81: I have really attractive wispy baby hair bangs around my hairline now so I'm looking forward to this stage. Oh boy.

I lost soooo much hair from 3-8 months pp. Everyday I'd pull chunks of hair out and complain to my husband about how I was going bald. I lost very little hair while I was pregnant though so I was definitely making up for it!
@gilmoregirl: I called the hair along my hairline peach fuzz! I hated it.

@LovelyPlum: right?! Mine has sloooowly stated over the past week (15 weeks po)

I think it went to 7 or 8 months pp. I remember asking the ped at LO's 6 month appt when this lets up, so I was still in the thick of it.

yep. it lasted awhile here! i can't remember how long though..
I do remember that we went through a couple bottles of draino over the course of it. haha.

@sorrycharlie: oh geez. I've already got our shower in bad shape. It sounds like I'm going to need more draino myself.

@gilmoregirl: those little drain "hat" looking things work well too!! it sits over the drain and catches all the hair but lets the water drain still. saves the drain a little bit, though it doesn't catch it all.

@Foodnerd81: ha! I forgot about those lovely bangs!
I'm 13 weeks pp and I've noticed it this week. My hair is so thin to begin with so I'm not looking forward to this.
I can't remember how long it lasted with my first but I remember thinking my hair just looked icky for a long time!

@Foodnerd81: I hear ya on the 1 inch pieces! So annoying!
Mine fell out a ton from about 4-7 months pp. I ended up chopping a lot off which really helped. I was getting sick of swiffering 5 times a day. At 11m pp it still is coming out but not that much more than before I got pregnant.

Mine started around 3 months pp, and was mostly done by about 7 months. It was AWFUL - so, so much hair fell out!
@Meowkers: mine's grown back - but I have a ton of little baby hairs as it is all growing in again.

I don't know if my hair is falling out any more than normal but LO seems to always have one of my hairs in his hand or on his clothes. Drives me crazy!
