Today is my husband's birthday ... My April Fools man!! LO and I are going to make some cupcakes, but I want to "ruin" one of them as a little joke. Can I just add a bunch of salt to it before baking? Will that work? -- Can you tell I don't bake?

Or, is there a better way to make it taste weird that won't hurt him or break a tooth? I thought about hiding something in it, but that's dangerous territory.
