How do you feel about the gifts you'll be giving LO this year?

I'm so excited! This is the first time they have asked for things for Christmas and I think they will be excited to find some of those things under the tree. They've been really into the concept of Christmas this year and understand the idea of presents, so it will be fun to watch their reactions.

So excited! She is 2 and her birthday is a week before Christmas so I feel during the year we really only buy her needs and a few things here and there!

We went a little crazy... lol
    Playhouse
    radio flyflyer bike
    Power wheels

I'm excited, but also a little nervous!

DS1 is almost 4 and had a pretty long and ever changing list. We have tried to reinforce several times that Santa won't be bringing everything. His birthday is the beginning of Feb, so we told him that anything he didn't get that he REALLY wanted, he might get for his birthday. Hopefully, he gets it.

Feeling excited but as some prior posts also nervous.

DD loves everything and says she wants basically everything she sees so it was hard to narrow it down. However, since she started asking for things her top three things have been: tsumtsum's, the duck game (as seen in commercial) and doc's toy hospital.

She's getting all three, except that we didn't get her the big toy hospital bc, well she already has too many biggish plastic play things so we got her the smaller version.. has all the characters but not the big hospital. So I hope she likes it. Her big gift is a kidkraft doll house... but I might be more excited for that than she is. Time will tell!!!

I think lo is going to love her presents, but they're all pretty small things (like, a puzzle, a small duplo set, a couple more food sets for her play kitchen, some play doh...) so I feel like they're lame since we usually do something bigger....BUT they're all things I know she'll love, so she'll be happy. Plus, it's Hannukah, so while I have something for each night, it's not as big of a hyped up holiday as Christmas. With lo2 coming soon, we just don't have room in our apartment for a big gift right now that I'd have to reorganize our toy shelves even more for! The gifts will just fit into bins we already have basically I'd love to get her a doll house, and I think she'd be into it, but we just don't have space. Maybe for her birthday!

I'm really excited for him to see how Santa brought his (seemingly unrealistic) list to life. We technically made everything he asked for happen, but definitely not in the way he probably imagined. I think he's going to be pretty pumped.

I think LO has forgotten about her prior Christmases. She keeps saying she is so excited (which makes me more excited) and last night she said I think I have more presents this year than any other year!! (I do tell her and DH it is not about quantity but they are gifts people.)
I keep putting all the presents out as we wrap and receive so our tree is full but not Christmas morning full. LO believes in Santa even though I have told her the real deal. She is an independent thinker and apparently she has enough evidence. So anyway, guess I might add some last minute small presents from Santa under the tree on Christmas eve. since he is not real. (LOL!! How dare I say that?!) I gotta cover for his absence. (See, I'm not a complete magic spoiler!)

@Anagram: we did our Christmas early too so we could do it together at home - people seem to think it's weird but I loved it!

Ds asked Santa for a cement truck so he got that which he loves! We stuck to want, need, wear, read plus a stocking and it all went over really well!

Dd is only 6 months so she got clothes and a doll - so happy we didn't go overboard with her.

My daughter is 20 months so she doesn't really know what's going on, but we got her an electric car, shopping cart and Finding Nemo on DVD. She is going to be so excited about the electric car and it's also remote controlled so we can drive her around until she figures it out.
I'm really excited for Christmas and seeing her open her gifts!

This is the first year LO comprehends the concept of "santa" and i was shocked that she actually wanted to go visit santa at the mall. At the 11th hour (after i had finished my shopping - or so i thought) she discovered paw patrol on tv and asked santa for, you guessed it... paw patrol toys. So I shifted some gifts around to my mom and brother and made it happen. She's getting the paw patroller, 2 of the dog/vehicles that go in it, and a Skye stuffy and I know she's going to be sooo excited.
