@swedishfish: yeah, we got the 6-12 size originally, but she's in that now and it's 78 degrees here today! so it went back.

@oliviaoblivia: oh! good idea about the stores. there is an outlet by us, so maybe they have older stuff?

@emg86: oh you're so sweet! I'm gonna have my mom look at her local store. My closest one is about 30 minutes.

SO! I wanted to go to the Carter's outlet anyway to check out sizing for their fall stuff to buy on sale. (Carter's outlet is literally the exact same things as online. No idea why it's called an outlet but whatever.) There is also a baby gap outlet too. DH had to get some stuff close by so I made him drop R and I off. Long story short, I found the outlet version of the jacket and it was 50% off the price that I paid for the real version (which was already 40% off!) so I bought it! I'm still gonna look for the real thing but at least my return regret is low now!

@allison: the baby gap outlet totally has the "lower" quality version of the regular store stuff. But for a lot of it, it doesn't make a difference! I could tell the difference in this jacket though.

@HLK208: yeah I was super excited about the additional 50% off! I have avoided Black Friday in the past but this year I'm heading to the outlets! They are like 15 minutes away from me! Good thing I do forget about them or I'd be in trouble!
