Meh, it's not a competition. Different people and all

I feel like my mom has always been amazing...with my sister and I, and now with our kids. Like @MrsBee, my mom cooks, cleans, and plays for hours when she visits. No idea where she gets her energy. Oh, and she has the patience of a SAINT. I try my best to emulate her...I don't always succeed, but I don't stress about it either!

My mom is pretty busy too. If we go there with the kids or she comes here she's always helping in some way. She's awesome!

We are both busy bodies, but she spends a lot of time cleaning. I am more focused on doing activities with the kids. We prioritize different things as moms.

My mom has always been the perfect WOHM since I was little. House always clean, dinner made every night, full time job, 3 girls including one with medical needs when she was little...ugh. I look like a lazy bum compared to her!!

My mom is basically superwoman. I'm nowhere near that lol

My mom now or my mom when I was little? My mom now is sort of that unstoppable force. She's always moving, cleaning, cooking, helping. Everything is just so and she says things like "well if you just did one load of laundry a day it wouldn't stack up!" (which is true and yet... lol).

But I remember when I was little my mom was not quite the homemaker she is now. I can remember the person-sized piles of laundry and the clutter. I think she was probably still a little bit tidier than I am now, but not that much. Probably by the time I'm her age I'll be perfect betty homemaker too

My mom had four kids, worked full time, ran an hour every day, got dinner on the table and kept a spotless house, while still spending lots of quality time with us.... I'm wondering now if she has super powers of some sort because I honestly have no idea how she did it. I'm so lazy compared to her!
