Hellobee Boards

During the time I'm with the infant (during the day) my son will be at daycare. I can't even imagine having both at the same time. Especially seeing I'll have little or no sleep.

I'd like to know this too! Right now my in-laws come over almost every day to help with Claire and Aerin, and I'm dreading the day when they go back to Hong Kong (in March)! I have had maybe one hour where I had both to take care of both all by myself, and I nearly had a breakdown because Aerin was screaming her little head off while Claire was fussing and about to start crying too.

In the beginning it's really hard, but like having the first baby, you will adjust to having two. My 3.5 yo DD goes to daycare 3 days a week and I treasure those days I just have the infant. When big sis is home though, it is a juggling act! Between me and my two girls, one of us or all of us is either hungry, sleepy, or needs to pee/poo... and what do you do when you are the caregiver but just prioritize and manage it all one by one. My parents helped for 10 days in the beginning and then DH took a week off... I wish I had more help, but just having DD in daycare is huge. And when at home she does play by herself a lot if I'm tending to #2. When I'm nursing we play board games together. When #2 is napping, it's our special time together too.

A baby carrier is also essential these days!!

I dont know honestly! I have a close family member who is a stay at home mome, and has a 4 yo , a 3 yo and a 1 month old. She handles it with grace and acts like it's no big deal, then again her toddlers are pretty well behaved, I bet that helps!
My husband has been begging me for another baby for 2 months now.. But between my new career and a 22 month old , I just don't feel ready to handle a newborn in nine months.
