My girl calls mommy in English and she calls her dad baba in Cantonese. I'm not distress of what she calls me or her dad as long I could hear her sweet little chipmunk voice.

Ideay I would like her to call me Mommy and her dad Daddie or Tatay Right now she got the english part down and sometimes she calls her dad Tatay but it depends.

I think I'd prefer Mama (although I wouldn't mind Mommy). My husband prefers Daddy.

Probably Mommy and Daddy until he/she is older and changes that on their own to Mom and Dad.

I'm hoping to be called mama. I'm not a huge "mommy" fan, though I'm not sure why. Also would not be opposed to the short and sweet "ma". It just seems so oldschool!

They'll use the Albanian words, which sound like Mommy and Bobby.
They'll probably call the in-laws by the Albanian words for grandparents too, which sound something like joosh-ee and joosh-yah. My parents... I have no idea. Whichever language the kids end up going with, could be English, maybe not.

I want my baby to call me Momma, but I dont think my husband minds what the baby calls him. Most babies start with dada so I bet ours will be no exception

My daughter calls her dad Daddy and me Fishie. I would prefer Mommy, although it is pretty cute that she made up a special name for me.

I think our future LO will probably call me mommy and DH wants to be called Papi

I'd like to start out with mommy or mama, but I'm sure eventually he'll transition to "mum" and "mummy" because that's the social norm here. I'm not sure how I feel about that....
As for his dad, probably daddy.
