I'm coming to the end of week 23 I've called a few times for different reasons
- to follow up on a test result whent hey suspected protein in my urine I was worried about that, it turned out to be nothing major.
-to ask them to explain why they booked me to see a genetic counsellor .
- to ask for a new prenatal vitamin
and the last time I called was to ask if I could have soft serve icecream lol.

I called two times between appointments: 1. Yeast infection 2. When i got into a bad car accident at 25 weeks.

I only called a few times, mostly in my last trimester. when I felt reduced fetal movement, had some serious and sudden swelling, when I was getting paralyzing headaches (which turned out to be high BP,) and when my stomach suddenly felt DIFFERENT but I couldnt describe why (it was bc I had polyhydramnios.) When in doubt, call. Its not worth the risk, It also doesnt sound like you are being excessive . Its not like you are calling and saying "I need an u/s now bc I think something is wrong for no reason." You had legitmate reasons for calling. Im positive they deal with crazier patients than you =o)

Yeah, I probably called on average once every couple weeks for various reasons... "can I use this medicine?", "I'm having this symptom, is that ok?" Stuff like that.
I also came in a few times between appointments- once for some spotting, once because I felt like the baby wasn't moving, once because I was having chest pains.
I don't think you're calling excessively at all.

At 24 weeks I have emailed twice and called the nurses line once!

I don't think I ever had to call except to report BP numbers they'd already asked for. I had the Mayo Clinic pregnancy book, and it broke things down into "call right away" or "wait until your next appointment" for each stage.

My first pregnancy, I called a lot! Whenever I was nervous or unsure about something, I would call. I have only called once with this pregnancy though, and that was because the baby didn't move all day.

At 25 weeks I haven't called between appointments at all! But I've had a pretty easy pregnancy.

I had my moments where I'd call all the time, but then I went months without calling. It just depended. But better to be safe than sorry. And I figured most pregnant ladies call a lot so they're used to it.

Oh and I did call about hemmorroids. After hours. I was bleeding and I couldn't tell where it was coming from so it freaked me out!

I actually never called him which I guess was a good thing as that meant everything went smoothly. But I did google a lot of things.
