Baby D usually wears a cotton sleep sack to bed. We keep the a/c on so his room is about 72...but it can get up to 74.
Well now we're on vacation with no a/c and it's pretty hot in here...high 70s maybe? I put him in his sleep sack but now I'm worried he's too hot.
How hot is too hot for your little one? If they don't wear a sleep sack, what do they sleep in?

Is it the sleeveless cotton sleep sack? Can you put him in it with just a diaper underneath?

We always use a sleepsack, even when it's really hot out. We just put him in just a diaper and the sleepsack. We use the Halo sleeveless cotton ones.

I agree with @Anagram:, I've stuck our LO in just the cotton sleep sack with just his diaper underneath and no problems. Our air has gotten up to over 75 at night when we were having some A/C issues. I have also (for naps), put him down in just a diaper and an A+A muslin blanket because the material is so breathable.

DD will ONLY sleep in her sleeveless sleepsack. So I think the hottest it's been was 85ish? And she slept in it.

Our thermostat is set at 78 and DS sleeps in a t shirt and a lightweight, sleeveless sleep sack. We also have a ceiling fan on in his room.

My kid sleeps in just a diaper if it's over 73....optimum sleeping temp and all. I'm of the opinion thAt the baby will let you know if he's not comfortable, though.

Sorry I missed these responses! It is a sleeveless sack. I didn't even think about just putting him in the sack + diaper! I'll have to try that!

We always use a sleep sack, I think the warmest thermostat ever got was 80, but we turn on the A/C and use a ceiling fan. She always wears pajamas with a sleep sack as well. If you think it's too hot, just a diaper seems fine!

We set our A/C at 76 and both LO's sleep in sleep sacks with only a diaper under. We also have their ceiling fans going pretty high. Our girls run hit so I do worry about them getting too hot in the sleep sacks, but this set up has worked well for a while now!
