So we are taking the plunge! 
I know there is no definite answer because each person/situation is different, but if you were TTC baby #2, how long before you conceived? I have to say that there is definitely less time devoted to the, ahem, process than when there was a toddler in the picture.

First cycle after I got my IUD removed
It took us 13 months with two losses for our first, so I was in disbelief for a few weeks, lol!

We got pregnant with #1 on the first try but #2 took 10 months. We had a couple miscarriages.

We hadn't actually started trying- we were just starting to warm up to the idea and weren't that careful. #1 only took two tries so we have been really lucky.

We had ds1 after three active cycles. We got a bfp our second cycle actively trying for ds2 that ended in a chemical. We conceived ds2 the second cycle after that early loss.

First month! Literally one try pulling the goalie. I was SHOCKED because LO1 took over a year!

We got pregnant first month TTC for number 2 but sadly lost that one. First pregnancy took a few months, I think about 7 months in total but maybe 3 of those were well-timed

First month NTNP with #2. This was a shock because #1 took two years to conceive!

DS1 - conceived after 3 months
When we started trying for baby #2, we became pregnant the first try, but unfortunately I miscarried. Then I took a cycle off and became pregnant again the next cycle we started trying (I'm now 37 weeks with DS2)

NTNP for 3 years, it was a total drag. Actively tried to conceive many of those months.

Two months. #1 took four.

Babies 1 and 2 were both surprise babies. This pregnancy took 1 cycle ttc.

We are lucky that both our families are insanely fertile so we got pregnant first try both times.

Five months. LO1 was 3 months.

@Tanjowen: 10m/7 cycles actively trying, longer if you count just not preventing. #1 was on the first try, no opks or tracking. It sucked but we are glad to be here, he will be here any day now.

5 cycles for LO2. Pretty quickly NTNP for LO1.

7 months, then a loss, then 2 more months once we were cleared to try again. So ended up taking a year from when we started to try for 2 to get our sticky baby.

One time I said "I'm probably past my fertile window". Apparently I wasn't. Whoops.

We weren't that careful after my first cycle off Bcp.

1st month TTC with DD2. DD1 was a full year of NTNP.

3rd cycle with both. For #1 I was coming off 12 years of BCP, and with #2 it was after my first few PP cycles. In both cases my cycle was wonky a few times, and as soon as it straightened itself out, bam, pregnant.
