We are hoping to get the girls into swimming lessons this spring or summer. They have several levels, level 1 starts for ages 6 months and it goes up to school age kids. I'm curious, if your LO took swimming lessons, how many different levels did you put them in? Each session for this particular program is 6 weeks, going once per week.

We started swimming lessons and they are grouped by skill level. I think there's about 5 levels. Although within my son's group there are varying skills, but the teacher is really good, she will differentiate based on their needs.

We do lessons at two different places depending on the time of year and their levels are different. We will put them in however many levels it takes to feel like they are strong enough swimmers to save themselves and swim safely on their own. And if they express interest in wanting to become even better they can continue if they choose.
