Just from you and Santa?
We went through my stash last night and figured out what to get her for Christmas and then what to save for her birthday. Besides her kitchen (pot, pans, and utensils, will be out with it), she has 4 gifts to open. It doesn't look like much at all but I know she won't know the difference!

Four gifts to unwrap, one that will be set up from Santa, and stuff in his stocking. We did want, need, learn, read (I think learn is a bit more versatile than "wear," but then turns out his "want" is a hat, so we could have just stuck with the original.)

@blackbird: She already is getting magnatiles? I was thinking about telling the IL's to get them for her next year. We bought some tegu for DH's BFFs son. R still loves the set we keep in the diaper bag.

She's getting her kitchen and pots/pans and food, which I can't decide if I should set it all up together or wrap the food and accessories separately for her to have something to open.
Aside from that..just her stocking!

5. Some Mellisa and Doug activity books, mickey mouse book set, big wheel, baby doll and hot wheels, bowling set.
Plus all grandparents and aunts/uncles will be gifting him, he's going to be spoiled.

@jetsa: I know! DH wanted to wait for her bday for one thing, but I want to give it to her now, knowing how much she is going to get from our families.
@BandDmommy: She isn't into building a lot, so I am afraid now they would be a waste of money.

We celebrate Hanukah so...8! Not all big though - like one is just a pomegranate in wrapping paper and another is a book from Goodwill. For bigger things we're doing Magnatiles, a balance bike and some trains (Thomas, Annie, Clarabel - each on a different night so that's 3 presents). Really, at 2, it's more about the act of unwrapping than what's inside!

Way way too many. I'm trying to convince my husband to save some for his birthday. He went a wee bit crazy on Amazon this year, and I had already purchased a couple myself, so there's a stupid amount that I'm slightly embarrassed by.

4. One big thing from Santa (an excersaucer - lol) and then a book, a mozart music cube, and a shape toy. He's 3 months.

3. her kichten will be out and set up and then we got the set of ikea pots and a doc mcstuffins dr set that will be wrapped. Plus her stocking with little dollar stuff. We got a trike but that will be her bday gift the week after.

Kitchen from us (but she won't unwrap it as we'll assemble it beforehand). Bitty Baby from Santa. That's it! Plus her stocking. I may wrap a box of diapers just because she loves unwrapping stuff.

We are making him and baby girl a teepee, he is getting a battery operated train that works with his Thomas set that we will set up to go around the tree, a pirate ship, a puzzle, a book, and a fire truck. And PJs to open on xmas eve. And the stuff in his stocking. I think we might have the fire truck set up, so he will have the stuff in his stocking to unwrap, plus 3 other gifts and 3 gifts will be open and set up.

@lawbee11: DH and I (ok, me) was lazy this year and wrapped everything in Santa paper. I figured she won't know the difference this year.

@Smurfette: yep me too. My mom got her a plastic set after we bought them. I didn't have the heart to tell her we already got some. So I guess the metal ones could just get lost for awhile

They will each have 2 - 1 from us, 1 from Santa plus stockings and I think that's more than enough since they will be spoiled rotten from our families.

2 gifts under the tree, which are a sit-on toy train and a set of building blocks, and then his stocking, which holds a bouncy light up ball, Christmas pj's, ornament and socks.
I'm a little worried how many gifts his grandparents are going to dump on him and where on earth to store everything in my house. They are ridiculous about Christmas!

@Smurfette: she loves magnetic blocks so I think she'll like these! she loves to build and seems perplexed when you bring pieces together and they either jump together or spring apart. E love love loves building things right now. Last night she picked up a baby doll, yelled "baby" at it, then threw it out of sight. *shrug* lol
I think we have 4 different sets and they just don't seem to get old with her. Same with puzzles. I asked her gma to get her a latch board for Christmas. I think her brain is just wired like DH and mine's as far as how things go together. It's just weirdly obvious.

@blackbird: We got R a latch board (Melissa and Doug one). DH think she is going to love it. I am not sure. Like I have told you before, she isn't into much lately, unless TV or books.

I think 5-6 each from us and santa plus stockings. We bought 3 little things for LO2 and plan to have a couple of LO1's old toys wrapped as well. We bought some blocks, puzzles, and books mostly and DH made a play tent as Santa's gift.

9? I think? (not that she will notice or care about opening gifts). But 3 of those are clothes-- which are pretty necessary because we don't have much in the next size up. Other than that she's getting a bunny jellycat, two books, 2 chew rings, a winkle ball thing, a xylophone, and a zoli cup (also necessary but she freaking loves the one she has and thinks its the best. toy. ever).

@BandDmommy: I am thinking about it for her birthday! She is getting a Minnie dress up set for Christmas from us. Then my cousins got her the tea cart, and I know others got her Minnie stuff. Going to take over the place!

@Smurfette: What about a Disney plush doll? I have a Goofy doll a buddy of mine in college gave me probably 10 years ago. E found it in the basement--it was sitting on a bookshelf--and IMMEDIATELY claimed it. She's in love with it. Has to hold it while watching Mickey and drags it around the house even though it's at least half her height. Cracks me up when they're really into "something"
