How much do you spend on coffee per month?

Well, I buy Peets kcups for 7 bucks for ten pods and drink three a day (I know...it's lot.) So that's 2.10×30= 63 bucks. And that doesn't include going to Starbucks 1-2 a week or so (8×4)= 32. So, yeah, around 100 bucks a month just for me (DH doesn't drink coffee.) Yikes.

My SB habit was getting a little ridiculous once I added the app to my phone. I spent at least $100 a month. I'm now brewing my own coffee most mornings. Coffee plus two creamers in a month is about $10 and the occasional SB is another $20.

@SweetiePie: Everyone has their thing. When I lived abroad, I spent about the same on coffee, because that's just what you did...a coffee cost at least $4, and then I'd get something to eat with it, and I'd have to buy the person's I was with once every other time...it adds up!

@looch: yeah that's a good point. I don't have any other vices. And I wouldn't even call this a vice - I just need something to do while I wait for school to end! It's only 2 hours and if you count travel time to run around and get back it's more like 1-1.25 hours. There's just not a ton I can do in that time. So, coffee and breakfast near the school it is.

I drink one cup per weekday morning with a communal pot at work that we all chip in to. Plus, maybe buy one coffee out somewhere per month (probably less). So I'm well under $10 per month.

My husband brews coffee at home daily. We have a single cup coffee maker, but use a reusable filter because it's much cheaper.

I also recently discovered that our local Kroger sells whole beans in bulk that are significantly cheaper than the pre-packaged stuff, so that's what we do now.

We mostly brew at home but buy nice coffee, often from local coffeeshops/roasters, so usually between 10-15 per pound. We prob go through 2/3 of that per week, so say $10. Plus if I'm working out of our home (4 days/week at most, usually less) I get a coffee in the afternoons, so that's about another $20, and on the weekends if we're out and about. So, maybe 30-50/week between dh and I on a "normal" work week? Oh gosh but you asked about monthly! so 120-200. Eeek!

Ugh way way too much! I brew coffee at home in the AM and then typically pick up a cup at our local $tarbuck$ in the PM. It's my only frivolity though!! We probably spend about $15/month on beans and I blow through $60-80/month at the Bux.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: The app does me in sometimes since I auto reload it. I do have 8 free drinks on it though from Starbucks for Life and other daily dash stuff. At my work, we have a weird Starbucks machine, so I do a 12 oz coffee from there with my blond roast, so no money spent.

I use my Keurig K10 mini just about everyday since we got it. On the weekends, I'll make iced coffee the night before to have it ready for the early morning with the kids.

We brew at home each morning, and maybe use 3-5 Nespresso pods per week for an afternoon/weekend cup or an espresso after weekend dinner. I'd say a bag of coffee lasts us about a week, and we've currently found one of Target's Archer Farms coffees we actually like, and I pay under $6/bag for. So 6x4 = 24, plus another $5/week ($20), plus a few social coffees per week for DH....maybe another $10/week. $24 + $20 + $40 = $84 max...though I'd suspect it's typically less (ie., our ground coffee lasts 1.5 weeks, some weeks we don't use any Nespresso pods). But yeaaaaah that's kind of a lot!

@nana87: Haha you had the same reaction as me. I don't even think we drink a lot of coffee!!!
