On my work days, T usually gets no tv or maybe one 30 min show. He's at school for a good chunk of the day and then with the nanny. On days he's home with me, he gets about an hour. On weekends, when dad is around, gobs of TV!

He gets tv while I shower and get ready. And a show after nap.
But today he was sick so he got that plus we watched penguins of Madagascar.

Some days, a LOT. Especially right now because they're sick and not sleeping.

If DH isn't home then it's usually zero, we listen to lots of music on cd and I'm not big into TV so I just don't have it on. DH, on the other hand, is a big TV watcher and puts it on as soon as he's home from work so A tends to have one eye on it. I'll occasionally put on a dvd if the weather's crappy.

2 hour max, unless we're having some kind of terrible day. Average is more like 60-90 minutes, split between morning and night. More in the winter, when we're stuck inside all evening. Less now that she doesn't nap and goes to bed earlier.

We usually do about an hour but now that I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant, that's gone a bit lax. And now apparently she likes cooking shows!

LO is almost 2.5 so not quite a preschooler depending on your definition I had a rule of no TV before nap time and we were doing good with that but we have backslid! As long as she has no TV before nap, I don't really monitor it that much after nap because between playing with Daddy, dinner, and her bedtime routine it's not like she can sit in front of the TV for hours straight.

He gets a lot when he's sick. Otherwise school days he doesn't watch tv (no time) and on the wknds were usually out of the house but sometimes we let him watch a show while we get ready. He'll get a show or two on no school days. And I let him play his alphabet apps too.

Lately she might get 1 show 1-2x a week. We will let her watch a bit more on the weekends but her screen time has been pretty minimal lately.

We have the TV on a lot for background noise. She really doesn't watch it much and plays with different toys or things around the home. She doesn't even notice when I turn it off sometimes.

Since our newborn came along my 3 year old gets 30 minutes in the morning on weekdays and 1 hr in the evenings. On weekends about and hour in the mornings and 40 minutes in the evening.

None. Neither of my girls are really into it and could not name one show if you asked them. We tend to have the classical radio station on for the vast majority of the day for background noise.

None. He might watch some music videos on the ipad for 5-15 min but no TV and not every day. Like @Ree723: 's girls he would not be able to name a show.

We don't do a lot of tv at our place. If she does watch it, maybe a couple times a week, it's just 20 minutes of Peppa pig. I find if we watch it too often she starts to ask for it all The time. I just reserve it for when I need a hand, like DH is late getting home and I have to make dinner.
ETA: when she is sick we are way more lax and let her lounge on the couch with the tv on.

Maybe an hour or two a week? We don't have a TV, but they get videos on the iPad. Sometimes if the weather is bad we'll let them watch a film.

DD watches 1 show after her quiet time in her room pretty much every day. If it's a long day at home or a rainy day, I'll let her watch a second show or 1 in the late morning. But I try to limit it to 1 hour.

It totally depends on the day. Some days none, some days more than I care to admit. I'm on modified bedrest, so I've become more lax with the tv watching. That being said, I think he learns so much vocabulary from watching. He makes up imaginary situations with the Winnie the Pooh characters, and he loves to summarize what is going on.

Usually an hour--a half hour in the morning, while I get lunch ready, and a half hour in the evening while I get dinner ready.

More than I would like. On the weekends, it's almost none, but my parents are TV junkies and have it on almost all the time during the week. The silver lining is that my mom's realizing that it is too much and she's actively turning it off and unsubscribing to certain channels.
