Charlie says "I love you Dada" all the time and he seems so sincere! But then again, he's 22 months old. It seems improbable that he could truly understand what love is.

I don't dwell on this one too much though, because I prefer to think that he truly loves me with all of his heart... and he finally at long last is able to verbalize how he feels about his old man.

But for the sake of discussion... how old do you think a kid has to be before they really understand what it means for them to say, "I love you."?
