So for the longest time, Mavrick prefers to be bare foot. He pulls his socks off ALL THE TIME when he gets his hands on it. He even takes off his shoes to take off his socks.
It didn't bother me much during the summer, but now that it's getting chilly poor babys feet are cold. Yet, I put socks on him... and 2 minutes later he takes them off. I've tried putting slippers on him and that doesn't work too.
Any tips on what can be done?

When Charlie refuses to put his jacket on, I don't argue with him. We just go outside without a jacket and he realizes that it's pretty cold out. Then I offer him his jacket, and he puts it on without any protest!
Not sure if there's a way to do something similar here... does he take off his shoes and socks when he's outside too?

No tips, but you reminded me of a funny (well kinda but not really) story. When my dad was a baby he was the same way, so my grandma apparently used rubberbands tied around his ankles to hold his socks on. They were so tight and were on so long that his circulation was cut-off and he was at risk for loosing both of his feet! So you might not want to do that. 
Maybe if you just let your LO realize how cold he's going to get he'll eventually leave at least his socks on?

@MrBee, he only takes it off when he's indoors or in the car. He even takes them off when he naps. (throws them out of his crib)
He takes his socks off at daycare too.
I know when he's really cold he go gets his cover and rubs his feet in it... but still, i wish he's feet weren't cold. I guess I can't do much.
Definitely won't try the elastic band thingy. lol

Oh I didn't realize it was just an indoor thing. Charlie doesn't like to wear socks in the house either! He takes them off when he takes off his shoes, like a good (three-quarters) Asian boy.
At night he wears a sleep sack, so his toes are nice and toasty even without socks!

Sleep sack.... ya okay. This child would pull a FIT!!!!!
Plus, I try to put jammies with feet on it, and he just wants to rip the feet out.
I might have to cut them. ha.

I went shopping for a pair of lined pants for my son the other day, the shop lady tried to sell me a pair of tights. They had trains on them, making them for boys, so she said, but I have a heard time getting used to the idea of tights for boys.

I know, right? It is really common where I live to put tights on boys. They go right under the pants. It's just not for me though.

@blushink - I have always been one of those people that hates things on my feet. Even as a little kid, I hated to be tucked in because I liked my feet to be free and never wore socks at night (still don't). Are there any shoes that have wooly inserts? I've seen some like that by Crocs for adults but I don't know about kids. That might make you feel better about not putting socks on him when he's going to daycare or taking a ride in the car.
He obviously knows when his toes are cold - because he rubs them in the blanket. I wonder if you just let him work this out on his own?
