Fun thread! My LO was a little piggy for her first Halloween. She was about 3 months old, so I didn't really go all out. Our town has a little trick or treating thing downtown so we just walked around there, the pup and I also dressed up like pigs

Not sure what we'll do this year yet.

DD was 6 months last year & was dressed as a girly ghost! We didn't take her trick or treating, but she did make an appearance (& helped us win first prize!) @ a costume party. We will probably take her trick or treating this year, they do a local event for kids & it isn't very late in the day.

It's NEVER too early. I have had my costume picked months before. Here is the Caterpillar Costume my MIL made our little boy. He will be anywhere from 6-11 weeks when he wears it. I love the little legs.

We're going to take her to the mall in her costume, I think. I'm sure it will be a thousand degrees out since we bought her this outfit from the sale this weekend. HA!

Mavrick was Robin last year, (and his costume doesn't fit him this year, so we need to find a good idea)
Sienna will be 5 months old... so I'd like to think of something original. Maybe a family theme as well.

I have been wanting to do a popeye couples/family coustume for years. LO will be six months old, so perfect to play sweetpea! I'll be Olive Oyle, but DH looks much more like Bluto than like popeye! Should start keeping my eye out for costume supplies at thrift shops:)

For the last three years we have done family costumes. My mom and I make our costumes. When our boys were doing their first Halloween we did star wars, then we did pirates and last year the boys were bugs, I was a web and my baby girl was a spider (she was only 1 week old), my husband was an exterminator.

This year we are doing three musketeers. My husband and I are going to be the bad guys (The cardinals guard and The lady De Winter) and my daughter is going to be a princess. Time to get sewing. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!
