Right now, our youngest is almost recovered from a runny nose and a cough... but our eldest seems totally fine. It seems improbable that he could avoid coming down with what she has though, since they're spending so much time together over the holidays!
If one kid is sick, does the other kid usually get sick too?

Nope! If the younger ones bring soemthing home, my oldest doesn't always get it. And, my oldest had a stomach virus in September and managed to only pass a very mild version of it to her brothers.

Wagon Jr. Had viral conjunctivitis for a week. The day his eye finally cleared up and he was fever free, LMW's eye got red and she spiked a fever. She had it for a week as well. We caught it too. Missed a Lotta work!
Last spring we all got strep too. So with the big illnesses yes, but quite often one has a runny nose whIle the other is fine.
