I don't exactly fit your situation, but DD2 turned from breech around 31/32 weeks, and I definitely felt it. She was wedged in some kind of transverse position for a good 30-60 minutes, and I found it REALLY uncomfortable.

I'm not sure if that is typical, though. I'm currently having a lot of ultrasounds for DD3, and at 31 weeks I'm able to tell from those (and actually from the shape of my belly!) that she's easily turning from transverse to various vertical positions without me knowing most of the time.

ETA: If you're looking for a glimmer of hope...I WILL add that there have been times in all three of my pregnancies that I'm POSITIVE I'm feeling a head/bum, and it turns out to be the opposite part. I think arm vs leg movements are kind of hard to differentiate, too!

Like @PinkElephant, I was 32w or so when this baby (still cooking!) was breech. I am getting weekly scans and he or she turned within the week before my 33w next scan. I didn't feel it and totally thought I would! Still head down at 35w despite constantly moving!

@shortcake: Same here...my last "bump photo" is waiting for the US tech! If she had turned they would have induced or gone ahead with a csec, though, because she'd be considered unstable. I had other placental issues, though.

FWIW, there was once or twice I was *positive* that she'd flipped, but she was stubbornly breech. I think it's so hard to tell!
