Good update! Continuing to pray for good news for you and baby girl.

@sandy: I did have dialysis, I started on hemodialysis and then had a tube put in my stomach so I could have peritoneal dialysis at home. I only did it for 18 months before I was eligible for transplant, my Dad was the donor. I was 10 at the time so that is much different than an infant. I honestly have no clue how they do it with babies. Hopefully you won't get to that point with her! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! Keep me updated if you're up to it, I know all too well how overwhelming all of the information can be.

Update: Baby still looks great but her fluid levels have dropped by half of what is was yesterday and they don't know why. I will be here for another 48 hours and likely until she is delivered. They will keep her in as long as possible and monitor her and watch the fluid level. They are trying to get the specialist to come to the hospital tomorrow instead of Monday and hopefully he'll have some answers about her kidney/lungs/fluid level. I miss LO so much but my parents are bringing her by tomorrow to see me. So much to figure out but trying to just take it one day at a time right now. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

I know it sucks to be stuck in the hospital indefinitely and I haven't been in that situation while also having another LO but you are doing the right thing! You got the steroid shots, right? Hoping that the specialist gets their butt out to see you tomorrow!!

@sandy: I'm sorry things are uncertain right now. You're stronger than you realize. I hope the specialist is able to give you more information...and hopefully a bit of reassurance also. Is your hospital affiliated with a (the) big children's hospital? If not, will they transfer your LO once she is born? You are in my thoughts.
