Hellobee Boards

It is! Obviously you have improvements to add (pictures, pm, etc) but it is pretty functional and user friendly at this stage. It helps a lot that it is in the same format as weddingbee. Also, I am loving the checklist posts on the blog!

I think it's fantastic and really helpful for me because I'm learning so much and creating a community when I need it most. I found HelloBee right around the same time in my pregnancy journey as when I found WeddingBee during my wedding planning. It really is a good resource.

I love that it's similar to Weddingbee from the community aspect so it's very familiar to navigate, but I absolutely love the updated look and feel! It's harder to be as active as I was on Weddingbee because there is much less free time!

I'm really impressed! Very user friendly, informative, and love the community feel. Looking forward to what else is to come!

Actually it's more than I expected. I love that there are so many First time moms around with kids the same age as mine. it's also nice to talk to others about TTC. Besides the people the site is very user friendly and just pretty. (I love the colors and icons) I cannot wait to see more bloggers on here.

as some of the gals mentioned above, i found Hellobee at a great time in my baby journey as i did with WB in my wedding journey. for me HB is easier to navigate - probably bc its still in beta and thus not as developed as WB w/ all the boards etc...

I love hellobee. I think that I found it at a perfect time (TTC for #1) and I look forward to visiting daily through my pregnancy (hopefully) and beyond. I agree that I don't think local boards are necessary.

I am really enjoying it so far. I love & appreciate how honest you have been with your various experiences regarding your births & miscarriages & just everything and I really hope that this is a quality that continues with whoever is picked to be bloggers on here. I also find the checklists to be so helpful & agree with the sublinks requests above.
And I thank the idea of a classifieds is great - we're going to cloth diaper & are on a tight budget overall, so if there were a place on here for moms to sell to other moms, I think that would be lovely

I love it! It will be a great place to find people at a similar stage. I also love the layout and the design. It's fresh and simple and I like that.

I'm really enjoying Hellobee so far! It is a beautiful site with a wealth of information. I've learned so much already... and I love that a lot of it is based on personal experience so you don't feel alone in what you're going through. Love it!!!

Mostly. I was expecting it to be sorta like weddingbee, but I was pleasantly surprised at how aesthetically pleasing this site is. It's a peaceful and attractive website.

The content of the site is definitely what I expected, but I was PLEASANTLY surprised by the layout. No offense to WB, but the layout, colors, big bride in the corner, etc kinda gave me a headache. This site is SO SO SO much better!

I can't wait until there are some pregnant bloggers to follow! When I was in wedding mode there were SO MANY blogs out there to follow but I've been having trouble find pregnancy (not Mommy) blogs that I REALLY like.

Can't wait to be able to post pictures either!

I'm sure you've already heard this SO many times but HelloBee is SO great!! I remember visiting Weddingbee daily 2-3 years ago while planning my own wedding and now that I'm pregnant, I LOVE that HelloBee has launched with all the tips, advice, honest stories, etc. that a first time mother would have never known.

One thing though, I remember visiting Weddingbee a couple months ago and while it's great that there are so many contributers/bloggers/miss xyz, I remember being a bit overwhelmed because with each day, there were numerous entries to read through (and you can't just read one or two entries). What I really like about Hellobee right now is that even though it's still new, the simplicity of it is...nice. I can't imagine once LO arrives and being able to keep up with the site and read all the entries if there were as many daily entries as Weddingbee currently has. I love what you guys have done so far and appreciate it so much!

I absolutely love hello bee! Maybe including tips / guidelines on charting, temping, foods to avoid for those just beginning their ttc journey =)

I agree with others that I love the simplified look and feel.

It also seems to be easier to read and post from my phone which is key with a baby.

I agree that local boards aren't necessary.

One touch that I would love to see is kinda like how WB has you wedding date by your name would be a place for a ticker with children's sex/age that automatically adjusts. So many times advice is helpful but it's nice to know where it's coming from and I think helps everyone keep track of the many people here. I don't like how cluttered signatures can get but a controlled way to add just a little more info would be really nice.

@mrbee - I dont know, I guess I was hoping for something more that was attached to each post rather than under your profile page (like WB shows your wedding date and location). When I'm looking for advice I like to know more about someone that is offering advice (aka a mom of 4 kids versus someone that is still TTC) and when reading through a thread I don't want to have to jump to a profile page to get a "feel" for each of the posters.

Maybe something that when you set up your account and profile you can choose to list your children, sex, and birthday? Maybe childrens birthday is TMI for the internet but maybe just month and year? Maybe even have an option for people to just list "child" or "baby" instead of listing sex if they don't want to identify the child as boy or girl?

I'm just throwing some thoughts out there!
