My poor baby is SO hairy. She has an amazing amount of hair on her legs and arms. Our pediatrician told us it was baby fuzz and would fall out. Jokes on us, never did. It's so strange to me because I have so little hair. Her dad on the other hand.....hairy beast.

I had a lot of body hair when I was younger but it's mostly gone now. There's hope M!

Yup! Both of them. I actually am hairy, so I'm not surprised. But my hair is all blonde and (I tell my self anyway) way less visible. In my husband's culture a lot of women even wax their arms and stuff, they take their grooming seriously.
I don't think I'll bring it up, but if my daughter ever starts to notice or care, I will totally help her. My mom didn't want me to shave until some arbitrary age like 13, even though I was starting to get some serious under arm hair. My older sister was like, Dude, you gotta take care of that, and gave me a razor and just told me not to bring it up with my mom. Who never noticed.

@Anagram: hahaha. My aunt had me have that talk with my cousin one summer when we were at the beach together. That was awkward. "Hi, your not-hairy cousin is suggesting that you shave because girl, your arms are out of control."

DS doesn't have much, poor DD has tons. The first time I held her after my c-section I commented to DH how hairy her shoulders were. He was like, "You should see her butt!" LOL. I'm hoping as she gets older more of it goes away.

Not yet, except on his head and he actually has cute little eyebrows now! I'd probably be the hairy beast in the family :-o
@Anagram: my friend waxes her arms, I always thought that sounded terrible. I definitely could...but ouch and I don't care, haha.

@MrsSCB: yeah, I personally wouldn't ever wax my arms--painful and I just don't care that much. I have no issue with arm hair.
But I think hair in other areas can be sensitive for a girl--mustache area hair or back hair.

@Anagram: Oh, for sure. I still remember when some jerk kid in middle school told me I had a mustache 
gave me a complex! Now as an adult, it is what it is. I wax, but it's OK. Maybe a tradeoff for good eyebrows haha. I worry for any girls we have, though, kids are mean!

@MrsSCB: I was in 4th grade when a jerk told me I had a mustache. I went home and cried. Thankfully my mom was happy to do something about it that night.
DD is pretty darn hairy for her age, she comes by it rightly. It's also already pretty dark just like mine. As soon as it bothers her we will discuss ways to deal with it.

He's totally hairy, but his hair is so bleach blonde that you can't tell. DH is super hairy, so I knew it was coming

Two of my three DDs were born with lots of baby fuzz - DD1 even had a hairy back, and hairy ears, and little sideburns. Most of it fell out, and what's left is very blonde and not noticeable. We'll see what happens with DD3!
I have a bit of hair on my arms/face, but it's all very fine and blonde, so not a big deal. My SIL has joked that if need be, she'll teach my DDs about facial hair bleaching and all that fun stuff

So I was "blessed" with Italian genes and begging my mom to shave my legs in 6th grade. I thought for sure M would be hairy too but all the hair on her legs/arms is blond and barely noticeable. Unlike mine
