@Crystal: @Winnie13: Thanks for asking. I'm taking my progesterone and trying to stay positive. I have looked at my embrryos a bunch (they gave me a picture) and I keep talking to them. I had some weird uterine twinges today- hoping it's implantation. Beta is a week away, the anniversary of when DH and I met. I saw the acupuncturist today, who said my energy is good, and "I feel you will be pregnant." Sending both of you lots of prayers!

@Ajsmommy: fingers and toes crossed for you! How bad is the snow where you are at?

@Winnie13: i didnt know that, thank you!! In doing ok, some headaches and hot flashes. The headaches have been the worst part, and yesterday a goblet fell out of our cupboard directly on my head so now it REALLY hurts. 😡

@LibbyLou: I really hope the RE has a plan. S/he has to have had other patients with blocked tubes before.

@NorthStar: i wonder why they make you wait 3 months? Thats such a long time in the TTC world!! All my fingers and toes are crossed for you. ❤

@doxielove: I laughed at your poor DHs possible birthday fun! Poor guy! They go through a ton with this stuff too.

@AmeliaBedilia: your acupuncturist seems very intuituve, so I hope she's right! I'm really really hoping the twinges are implantation. Are you testing out the trigger? Thanks for the prayers, I need them! Lots your way too. ❤

@AmeliaBedilia: Hoping those are good twinges girl!!

@crystal: Ouch!! Clomid is definitely a no fun fertility drug, but hey, if it does the trick, then it's all worth it!

@Crystal: oh no, your poor head!

I think that my clinic is so busy that was the first time they had an opening. I believe that they try to do groups of ladies together around the same time to make the scheduling easier. I'm counting down until I can start again - 5 weeks!

@Crystal: . Online is saying we have 34 inches!! It's crazy. Def not getting out tomorrow so I hope that doesn't screw up this cycle!! Anybody ever miss a monitoring appt before????

We're having a blast in the snow though! Here are some pics....

@Ajsmommy: holy snow!! Your estradiol number is good- I am thinking you were hoping for a 600ish number? Getting there. Hopefully missing tomorrow's won't put a kink in this good mojo you have going.
@ameliabedelia ooooooo I so hope this is it! Hopefully the anniversary is a great omen and you can report to us some good news!

Is it possible to ovulate while on a medicated cycle before taking a trigger shot??? I'm panicking That I'll ovulate today and we'll miss our window!

@Ajsmommy: are you being monitored? If so, very unlikely. When was your last appointment and how big we're the follicles?

  13. Ajsmommy

    pomegranate / 3355 posts

@AmeliaBedilia: oh thank you for weighing in!!!

I was monitored Fri. They were approx 16mm

The nurse called me back bc I called and voiced my worry and the instructed TI tonight just to be safe then monitor tomorrow if I can get there

    Thanks!!

    nectarine / 2192 posts

@Ajsmommy: my doc says follicles grow 1-2mm per day and triggers between 20 and 25mm. Are you planning on an IUI?

  15. Ajsmommy

    pomegranate / 3355 posts

@AmeliaBedilia: no IUI, we're just doing timed intercourse

  16. Winnie13

    kiwi / 501 posts

@Ajsmommy: I don't have an answer for you, more of an idea. I would think that if you are on a medicated cycle, then you can ovulate without a trigger? A trigger just forces the follicles at that time? Are you bding? Call your doc first thing tomorrow!

  17. Ajsmommy

    pomegranate / 3355 posts

@Winnie13: I agree with your thoughts.... And yes we did bd today.... Bc I called them back and said hey!! I'm worried that I'll ovulate today and miss our window.... So they said to bd today just in case.

    I'm going in tomorrow to.monitor

So hopefully the eggs will still be there and I I can trigger tomorrow night and bd again tomorrow and Tuesday. I feel like that would be a really good shot

  18. AmeliaBedilia

    nectarine / 2192 posts

@Ajsmommy: 16mm on Friday should mean 19-22mm Monday, so you'll probably trigger Monday or Tuesday. It's unlikely you'll ovulate prior to trigger, and even if you do, as long as you're doing frequent BD, you still have a good chance. Do your best to relax and have some fun BD.

So I dug out and made it to my monitoring appt..... Not going to work though lol. Can dig out for infertility appt but not for work

Anyway, I'm happy bc the eggs are still there!! I'll trigger tonight and ti tonight and tomorrow

Buzz kill though when they ask you what you plan to do for the next cycle

    @Ajsmommy: yea! Good luck!

AFM, I'm trying to stay calm and distracted before my beta on Friday. I did an HCG booster, so testing early is pointless.

AF showed her ugly face today. I O'd earlier than I thought... My OPK didn't even detect it, but my temps did rise, which I thought was peculiar. I guess I know why now. I must have already O'd after I got a positive OPK a couple days later. Made my first apt with an RE next Wednesday. In the meantime, I guess I'll try Femara (for the 5th time), but bump it to 5mg. I can safely say that we will go straight to an IUI. After 18 months and 8 medicated cycles... I'm so over TI!!! So, hopefully sometime in March!

Hi everyone!! How are you doing??

@Winnie13: sorry for af!! But yay for moving onto a new protocol in March. fx for you!
@AmeliaBedilia: can't wait for your update, hoping for wonderful news!!
@delight: Thx, I need all the positive vibes I can get!

AFM, I am feeling bloated and gassy from all of the meds I am guessing... such a big help when TTC! HA

We hit our TI as instructed and now I'm officially in the dreaded TWW. I triggered on Monday, TI Sun, Mon and Weds am. I am soo hopeful that this month is it!! If not I'm just not sure what we'll do next... I don't think I can just give up the desire to have another baby...

@Winnie13: @Ajsmommy: @Ajsmommy: thanks! I'm so nervous and still two days to go. I'm thinking positively. I had pretty bad nausea and bloating last night after dinner that seemed out of the ordinary for me. A little nausea this morning and lots of cervical mucus. Hope it's the babies, not the progesterone. I appreciate the support here!

@AmeliaBedilia: saw an update and my heart leapt thinking it was today you got the news. Two more sleeps!
@ajsmommy those days sound like great timing! Don't get down about the thought of trying again. I always like to pretend I'm 2weeks pregnant, 2+3weeks until I get my period. In my own warped world I have been 1weeks pregnant A LOT! 😝🤗

Hello again ladies. I've avoided the boards the last few months because I was trying not to get back in obsessive baby mode. But now that I'm halfway through my first TWW after my loss in October, I figured it was time to come back.

    Cycle Day: 25

TTC Cycle #: No idea. TTC since August 2014

POAS: I'm 8 DPO today, so I'll probably spend the next few days torturing myself by trying not test and then caving in.

    Baby #: 1

Your plan: We did another round of Femara with a trigger shot this cycle. We were able to BD about 6 times in my fertile window, so I'm hoping for a good outcome. But it's our first cycle TTC again, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high.

@KrzyRiver: welcome back lady. We've been taking a break too since the October loss and doing some testing. I think we will get the ball rolling again in March. Good luck to you this cycle. 6 times in your fertile week is amazing! We have never pulled that off!
@AmeliaBedilia: sending you so much love and positive energy today.

@Ajsmommy: I know that feeling so well. I try to stay positive and then I worry that I'm getting my hopes up. And then I start feeling really pessimistic. Lol. TTC is such a roller coaster of emotions.

@delight: Thanks! My nurse kept changing when she wanted us to have intercourse, that's the only reason we managed 6 times. Lol

    @doxielove: Good luck!!

Hey, question for others who are doing or have done TI..... how many times did your dr or nurse instruct you to DTD? Both cycles so far they've only instructed twice.

And what days so they generally tell you to? First cycle was day of trigger and day after and this cycle was day of trigger and then 2 days later in the AM specifically.

So how many times are you instructed to DTD? and what general days? if they change do you know why??? Just curious

    pomelo / 5326 posts

@Ajsmommy: we haven't started on any plan yet but when I was talking to my RE last week he mentioned just trying TI and progesterone supplements for a couple months. He said I need to just make sure I DTD the day of positive OPK and day after. It's not the same as your trigger though I don't think but maybe similar? I'd say day of trigger and day after for you but I really have no idea. I think we are just going to keep doing what we have been doing. We always just try to get a couple good times around O. I always make sure we DTD the day of a positive OPK so I hit 0-1. I always hear that O-2 and O-1 are the best.
