If it were me with my son I would keep it but I have a hard time parting with anything of my little boys as it is.

What about keeping atleast one (or both) and doing up a baby keepsake shadow box frame? Like these? I'm sure that would make grandma feel special and a great way to combine any other bits you want to keep... and ofcourse you could do another for DD.

I'm ridiculously sentimental. Even if I don't particularly like the piece, I'd keep it for LO just in case she wants it later on.

I love the idea of a keepsake box! I am going to do one for my son, but not with the sweaters his grandma knitted. I kept two, a vest and a sweater.

Keep! Your LO can use them as doll clothes later on. It will be nice for them to be able to play with something from Grandma.

If its by someone close(grandparents, great grandparents,etc) I would keep it, and since its your grandmother I see keep 1 or 2 things. I'm not very sentimental though....

I would absolutely keep it. My mom kept the set her aunt knitted me to come home in, and though I didn't use it, I love having it. I can also pass it down to my daughter one day. Not necessarily to use, but just so cool..her grandmother's aunt will have knit it. I find history/heirlooms so cool!

Keep it and put it in his memory box, it's such a sentimental gift that you can pass along to his wife when she's pregnant with your grandchild!

Keep! My mom kept all of our special clothes and hand knits and I get such a kick out of putting LO is my baby sweaters!

I would totally keep them! I'd put DD in them (I think they are fairly gender neutral, actually) and then frame at least one in a shadow box... I love shadow boxes, but done a little more simply than the examples posted above. I have one of LO's cristening booties and another one of just her christening hat with a background that coordinates with her room. My grandmother gave my sister a shadowbox containing her grandmother's baby booties (so, our great-great-grandmother's booties) and I think it's so cool!

So CUTE! I would totally dress a little girl in them. I bet you could find some cute girly pants in the same colors.. Mixing prints is very chic on the playground these days
Seriously, grandma made them?? Save! What a precious gift to hand down to your future grandchildren. I know you're not jazzed about that idea, but a small box of keepsakes doesn't take up much space.
